He always gets something from James; even if they're in some stupid fight he always gets something, they're both demonstrative enough that it works out that way--but there's just this blank silence, an ocean of it. It's a silence that makes Sirius want to do something loud just so it stops going on and on, but instead he leans against the door for half a second before shoving away, standing with shoulder squared, the same way he'd stand for any berating that he actually deserved.]
