OOC PERMISSIONS

Player: dai

Preferred Contact: disarmingly or #dai3757 on discord

Usual tagging times/pace: CST, moderate pace. will boomerang if around, slower on weekends. usually fastest during the day.

Backtagging: always and forever! but smalltalk/non-important conversations will usually be dropped after a bit. if you have a specific thread you wanna continue, let me know.

Fourthwalling policy: please no! but if being a huge hp nerd is important to the character, let me know and we can work something out.

Action vs. Prose: I prefer action but only slightly, and will match!

Offensive Subjects & Triggers: none that i know of, but i will let people know!


IC PERMISSIONS

Physical Violence: I am completely and entirely okay with writing out violence. I am also okay with James suffering any number of wounds/injuries, but if it's debilitating/serious in any way I'd rather talk it out beforehand. James will jump to spells but he's not above a physical altercation either. He has no plans to kill anyone, but if it's in self defense or the defense of his loved ones, he won't hesitate to act.

Mental Information: James has some resistence, due to the fact his world does include magic that can read minds, but anything I mention in a tag is up to the player. Any more than that I'm happy to talk about, too, so please don't hesitate to hit me up.

Physical Affection: James Potter is Very Physically Affectionate with those he cares about/knows/loves/etc. But he's also pretty good at going with the flow, so if it's someone he's just met, he won't be too put off. However, he is a Married Man, so he'll probably cut things off if it gets too steamy.

IC Triggers: There are a few IC things that will get a reaction out of him, sure (specifically voldemort etc etc etc) but nothing that needs to be talked about! I'm happy to play out conflict scenarios like that anyway. c:

Relationships: Friendship and familiar are yes, always, all the time. However! He is married and Horrendously In Love with Lily Evans, so romantic will probably be a no-go unless we discuss au's oocly (which I am up for).

If yes, please state your preferences: this all depends on the scenario, but he's definitely Married. I'd like to see the scenario first and go from there.


POWER-SPECIFIC AND/OR SPOILER PERMISSIONS

Powers: HP magic is fairly godmoddy and does involve a lot of other-player interaction. James is by no means the Strongest Wizard To Live, but he does have a selection of mindreading, body control, mental and physical interaction, etc spells and is fairly talented at using them. If you're not familiar with the HP verse and its use of magic, there is a lot more information about charms, transfiguration, defense, and just general magic at their respective links.

I am happy to talk out magical use with James before any threads, so please let me know if you're worried about it. He will have his wand in game, so he has access to his magic, as well as his animagus ability, but I'll be sure to leave room for characters to avoid the magic if necessary!
